The Amalia Glacier in the Chilean Fjords

February 18, 2015

In the night the ship had entered the channels of the Chilean fjords. About mid-morning we cruised by the Amalia Glacier. We had hoped to be closer to the glacier and took our photos in the fog and mist. At about 10:00 the ship stopped and turned around to go back the way it came. Then in the late afternoon we went out to sea through the Nelson Strait (according to the “Log of the Cruise” which we received at the end of our trip).
